FROM ELDER WARREN BECKES:
What a blessing it was to have all of you together this past Sunday. It is always a joy to gather together and fellowship with you.
I have a couple of comments and observations that I’d like to share with you. After service I heard comments as wide ranging from “thank you for your words” and “I’ve wanted to say the very same thing for a long time” to “I love that chapter of Romans” and all the way to “I’m tired of hearing about this”. I agree with all those remarks.
Praise the Lord that his word continues to challenge each of us with a message on love, unity, and peace while Paul is encouraging all of us to rid our relationships, with one another, of any scent of pride and/or arrogance (my words not his).
I pray that we will all continue to reflect on Paul’s message from chapter 14 and how valuable unity is within the Church. For the sake of both the Weak and Strong of the faith.
1 Corinthians 16:13 – Closing words by Paul in his letter to the church in Corinth.
God bless you all.
Your brother in Christ,
Warren
