Pastor Tim is married to Kathryn and they have three children. He is ordained with the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches and taught Old Testament and Hebrew at Nashotah House Theological Seminary. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, earned his Masters in Biblical Studies at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul and holds a doctorate in Biblical Studies from Marquette University.

He grew up in the Midwest living in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. He served the U.S. Army in Operations Desert Shield and Storm, spent some time briefly in politics and has served as an Executive Pastor. He enjoys reading, playing golf, hiking and traveling. A favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.

Kathryn is a busy Mom who works full-time at Beloit College, is fluent in French, conversant in Spanish, has a heart for international missions and enjoys praising the Lord through song on the worship team and has recently led the Women’s Bible Study. Their children are active in sports, drama, choir and band in the Beloit Turner School District as well as the worship team at Rock Valley Chapel.

Karen graduated from Dordt College (now University) with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Karen grew up in Iowa and met her husband Dan at Dordt College. After living in Minnesota for 26 years, Karen and Dan moved to Beloit in 2011, where Dan taught at Rock County Christian School and Karen worked as the school's bookkeeper.

They enjoy traveling to Milwaukee, North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa (basically the midwest!) to visit their children, grandchildren, and extended family. Besides loving to spend time with their children and grandkids, Karen also enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking and a wide variety of other outdoor activities, with her husband. When the weather doesn't cooperate for being outside, she enjoys scrapbooking, sewing, and crafts.

Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (NIV)

Angie is married to Keith Hoekman and has two daughters, Amy (Aaron; 2 Grandchildren: Emmett, granddaughter born in June 2019) Grabowski and Karen (Nate; 1 Grandchild: Raelyn) Winter. She grew up in DeForest, Wisconsin but has lived in Beloit since 1980. She had a daycare in her home when her daughters were little and then worked for the foodservice in the Beloit School District for 20 years. She was hired at RVC while her daughters attended college and currently works for Meal Magic. Angie leads a Revival prayer meeting at RVC every Monday night at 6:00 p.m. She loves the book of Psalms, especially verse 118:24 and the verse 2 Corinthians 1:3-5. “I love to sing and pray while working at RVC.”
