FROM KEVIN SHEDD:

I had a lot of encouragement from many brothers and sisters in Christ after the sermon.

Our memory verse was from Psalm 110. This psalm is the most referenced OT passage in the NT. If you haven’t percolated over it, I would encourage you to do so.

One saint said that she really appreciated the metaphor of fatherhood. It provided some clarity around the idea of an imperfect role that God designed, based upon a heavenly reality, that we see fully realized as children of God.

The book of Hebrews utilizes this idea through the text. Hopefully, as you read it, you will be able to see how the writer utilizes this design to defend and support Christ’s sufficiency for all.

It is so marvelous that we have such a great high priest that is sufficient for all time.

In Christ,

Kevin Shedd
