As I was preparing for Sunday’s sermon, I thought back to when I first came to
know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I had never experienced a greater peace than on that day. The burden of my past was lifted. I was made new, even though the consequences of my actions were still before me, I knew that In Christ I could get through anything.
True freedom is not that everything in our life has to change to meet our
expectations, but to know that God, Our Father, is in control and will guide us
through whatever comes in the future.
Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (NKJV)
Philippians 4:29
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (NKJV)
The freedom that we have in Christ Jesus is to be lived out each day of our lives
and should be our focus to experience God’s peace, joy and love.
